Kristallen is one of Sweden’s largest broadcasting award galas. The Swedish entertainment elite gathers for one night – and 21 awards – to celebrate the art of television. Until now, Kristallen’s social media accounts had been relatively inactive, with low engagement.

Enter KIT. The social media agency’s primary mission was to create a social media presence matching Kristallen’s importance in the entertainment business. Another important goal was to make the nominated tv-shows’ fans discover and watch the live broadcast.


In today’s online environment, content needs to be instantly recognizable. So KIT and Kristallen developed an eye-catching graphic profile based on the 2022 gala’s distinct orange color. KIT and Kristallen decided to announce all nominees and winners on social media – previously, only announced on Kristallen’s website.

In addition, KIT had two representatives present at the gala with a remote video producer. This setup ensured a steady flow of red-carpet interviews, photos, and content from the event itself. This way the gala was available on social media in a way it hadn’t been before. 


Overall it was a success! Kristallen’s engagement rate on Instagram increased by 2 830 % compared to the previous year. The organic reach grew by 13 548 %.
